About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership, policy definition and risk management to the Indirect Tax function for the United States and Canada
Oversight of outsourced compliance, engagement management, full audit cycle, and post audit controversy resolution
Planning and implementation of planning opportunities
Identifying potential compliance issues and recommending solutions
Communicating and consulting with senior management on strategic and tax-related issues
Collaborating with senior business leaders to resolve highly complex tax issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree required; advance degree preferred
10+ years of related experience Indirect Tax in the US with exposure and experience with Canada
2+ years of previous supervisory or leadership experience
Content expert in the field of tax matters
Exceptional financial and business acumen; in-depth business and industry knowledge
Advanced knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to federal and state income tax transactions
Excellent project management and process development skills
