About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administers and maintains sales operational systems and processes to provide content, data and information management in support of sales pursuits.
- Implements and configures sales tools, content management and tracking systems.
- Develops and manages catalog and web-based content, web pages and other online sources for storing and communicating information for sales and partners.
- Enters, updates and ensures accuracy of data in sales and client and partner relationship management systems generates regular and ad hoc reports for account teams and leadership.
- Advises on improvements and enhancements for design of sales systems and tools.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales teams and Partners for quote creation, modification, and management.
- Create, update, and manage sales opportunities in SFDC (Salesforce).
- Generate and maintain accurate quotes using quoting tools (SAP, Oracle CPQ, ASQ/NQG, etc.) ensuring adherence to pricing, discount, and approval policies.
- Support Sales and Account Managers with pricing requests, deal structuring, and opportunity-related queries.
- Manage complex and high-value deals, including required documentation and approvals.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Logistics, Customer Care, Order Management, and Global Support to resolve quoting and ordering issues.
- Monitor and address quote and opportunity escalations, involving Team Leads or Managers when required.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across SFDC, and quoting tools.
- Maintain strong knowledge of sales tools, processes, and policies to effectively support partners and customers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent
- Typically 4-6 years experience
- Experience in sales support, quoting, or commercial operations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and Oracle CPQ.
- Working knowledge of SFDC (Salesforce) for opportunity management.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Proficient Japanese and English language skills required.
