Logistics Sourcing Intelligence Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own regional surface freight sourcing intelligence across FTL, LTL, and brokerage markets
- Develop and maintain lane-level and market benchmarks to support RFQs, negotiations, and budgeting.
- Provide analytical support for RFIs, RFQs, and renegotiations, including rate normalization, scenario modeling, and total landed cost comparisons.
- Apply standardized savings and cost-avoidance logic to ensure consistency, auditability, and credibility.
- Monitor key cost drivers such as fuel indices, accessorials, labor, capacity, and regulatory changes.
- Support TMS-enabled and digital RFQ processes by defining analytics and data requirements.
- Work closely with Global Logistics Sourcing, Finance, Contracts, Operations, and Digital teams to align analytics with business objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8–12 years of experience in logistics pricing, sourcing analytics, transportation procurement, or supply chain analytics, with strong surface transportation exposure.
- Proven experience supporting RFQs, negotiations, carrier selection, and commercial evaluations.
- Strong understanding of surface freight cost models, including FTL/LTL pricing, accessorials, fuel mechanisms, and network concepts.
- Excellent understanding of global procurement processes, industry, and complex suppliers.
- Ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable sourcing insights.
