About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Present and sell at the highest levels - Executives, IT Management, and other Decision-Makers
  • Relationship management skills that translate into identifying decision-makers and influencers
  • Manage all necessary account administration including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management
  • Engage resources including specialist sales and the BU's to drive opportunities as necessary
  • Position end-to-end solutions and articulate HPE Networking strategies to senior customer executives
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts to sales management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience selling into FTSE100/250 accounts in the UK enterprise market with strong references, closing business in the Retail sector
  • A strong understanding of the Retail market, their business models and the challenges they are facing
  • Experience developing sales strategies, preparing proposals & quotes and presenting networking solutions
  • Proven experience running large Global accounts
  • Knowledge of GSI, Service Providers and the wider partner eco-system
  • Working knowledge of HPE Networking portfolio would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong presenter and closer with the ability to demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Good relationship building and consultative skills
