About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Products and Services pricing and governance for Americas GEOs: Supports a large and complex portfolio of products and services.
  • Provides leadership in the implementation of the pricing strategy.
  • Owns local list price implementation for all Americas GEOs for one category product or service.
  • Owns pricing delegation and governance for one product category/service, establishing delegations per level of deal approval, managing PROS and can provide feedback related to price response for all pricing motions like Sales Empowerment, Instant Price, or SmartChoice.
  • Provides complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
  • Forecasts financial results within a broad scope.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of pricing analysis
  • Drives continuous process refinement and improvement by applying a comprehensive understanding of internal business processes and policies.
  • Understands complex business issues and makes appropriate recommendations by applying subject matter expertise.
  • Delivers training, leadership presentations, and regular briefings to transfer knowledge and align stakeholders
  • Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes
  • Acts as a trusted systems operator while providing strategies for process improvement and policy development to prevent recurring issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors' degree, or technical/ advanced university degree, or equivalent experience
  • A master's degree is desired
  • Typically, 7 to 10 years of experience
  • A comprehensive understanding of HPE’s business and end-to-end processes will be required
  • Ability to communicate in small and large settings
  • Experience communicating and negotiating complex pricing methodologies
  • Ability to shape pricing strategies using data and analytics to drive insights and inform customers of willingness to pay
  • Ability to provide strategic and financial consultation to key stakeholders across the organization
  • Business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI
  • Excellent understanding and comprehension of accounting goals and financial analysis
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve problems
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
