About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for defining and executing the organization’s tax strategy, with emphasis on direct taxes and corporate income tax compliance in Brazil.
  • Ensures adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations, supports tax planning initiatives, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to manage tax risk and optimize the company’s tax position.
  • Oversee and support corporate income tax compliance and reporting activities in Brazil.
  • Prepare and review complex tax calculations, provisions, and filings.
  • Provide technical tax guidance to internal stakeholders, including Finance, Controllership, and Business teams.
  • Support transfer pricing matters, including documentation and alignment with current regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits and interactions with tax authorities.
  • Collaborate closely with external advisors to ensure compliance and support tax planning initiatives.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential business impacts.
  • Contribute to tax planning, forecasting, and risk management activities.
  • Support tax accounting processes and ensure appropriate treatment for financial reporting purposes.
  • Lead or participate in tax-related projects and process improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (preferred) or related field.
  • Experience in tax, with solid exposure to Brazilian tax regulations.
  • Previous experience in the technology industry is desirable.
  • Background in accounting and tax reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian corporate income tax and general tax principles.
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing concepts.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Business-oriented mindset with the ability to translate technical topics into practical insights.
  • English: Fluent (required)
  • Spanish: Desirable.
