About the role
- Responsible for a defined set of Global Accounts in Germany
- Create, drive, and manage a robust security sales pipeline while identifying and developing new business opportunities that lead to new logo wins
- Capture leads outside of specialization and leverage closed-loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow-up by others
- Maintain strong awareness of competitors within accounts to strategically position the company’s products and services
- Identify new opportunities and expand existing ones
- Support Account Managers with security specialization and jointly execute aligned account and channel strategies
- Establish consultative relationships with customers and partners at all organizational levels up to C-level and identify buying influencers
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful solution delivery and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification
- More than 8 years of experience in a sales environment selling high-value software and services
- 3–5 years of cybersecurity-specific sales experience
- Significant experience in top-account sales and a good understanding of the industry and market segments in which key accounts operate
- Expert knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, the market, and competitive positioning
- Strong consultative and enterprise selling skills
- Strong customer orientation with empathy and advisory competence
- Strong knowledge of deal project management, business planning, execution, and control
- Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven approach and a strong will to win
- Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- High level of responsibility and confidence
- Experience with MEDDPICC and Salesforce
- Business-fluent German (native level) and English
