About the role

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex technology solutions
  • Manage pre-sales technical / functional support to existing and prospective clients
  • Present and articulate the capabilities and values of HPE solutions as it relates to customer business requirements
  • Work with HPE's Territory Manager (TM) to qualify opportunities and convert leads into successful engagements
  • Combine excellent sales support and consultative skills with expertise in current and emerging network technologies
  • Collaborate with TM to provide a comprehensive pitch to prospective clients
  • Support an opportunity pipeline and drive through the sales process to closure
  • Create and define a Technological Roadmap
  • Implement and support customer Proof-of-Concept engagements
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive solution offerings and strategically position HPE products
  • Interact with industry experts to anticipate customer needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology/engineering or related field OR significant experience in networking technology and pre-sales activities
  • Minimum of 4+ years of technical professional, pre-sales/post-sales work experience
  • Extensive experience in networking including routing, switching, wireless, security, SASE/SD-WAN, data center, and network management platforms, both on premises and cloud based
  • Hold specific networking certifications (HPE, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, etc.)
  • Experience in Network Access Security including HPE Aruba ClearPass, Juniper Access Assurance, Cisco ISE, etc.
  • Create solution sales offerings spanning multiple product and service portfolios in a very competitive market
  • Effective, articulate communicator with strong customer-facing skills and able to translate product knowledge into customer’s added business value
  • Team player maintaining a hands-on, customer first approach towards business plan execution
