About the role
- Lead discovery sessions to map customer needs, policies, and multi‑cloud strategies to Morpheus Enterprise capabilities.
- Deliver technical presentations, live demos, and architecture reviews that highlight automation, cost‑saving, and self-service benefits.
- Partner with HPE sales, account executives, and product managers to position Morpheus Enterprise in winning deals.
- Develop solution‑level proposals, ROI/business‑case models, and answer RFP/RFI questions.
- Provide feedback from the field to product teams to shape roadmap and improve enablement content.
- Work closely with the Morpheus sales specialist to qualify leads and ensure a strong pipeline of potential customers.
- Collaborate and provide feedback on best‑practices, playbooks, and success‑story collateral.
- Stay current on hybrid‑cloud trends, competing platforms, and emerging automation tools.
- Work closely with HPE presales, engineering, and professional services to ensure seamless solution hand‑off.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, or hybrid‑cloud automation, preferably in a technical‑selling or enablement role
- Preferred hands‑on experience with Morpheus Enterprise (or comparable orchestration platforms) and at least one major hypervisor (VMware ESXi, KVM, Hyper‑V)
- Strong background in designing/operating private, public, or hybrid cloud architectures.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows OS, networking, storage (SAN/NAS, iSCSI, SDS)
- Experience with automation/scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform.
- Familiarity with HPE’s hybrid‑IT portfolio and the competitive landscape.
- Preferred experience with products like VMware VRA, Nutanix, Cloud Bolt.
- Candidate must reside within the greater Mid-Atlantic region, defined as Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, or South Carolina, and have the ability to travel to customer sites within the territory.
