About the role
- Software development: Develop customer-focused solutions for data acquisition (BDE) and SCADA based on existing software products
- Product support: Test, extend and maintain our software products throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the team as well as with international partners and customers on the design, optimization and diagnosis of software solutions
- Continuous learning: Independently acquire new knowledge about current and emerging technologies and apply it purposefully in projects
- Quality & innovation: Support the continuous improvement of our software solutions through new ideas, structured work and technical expertise
Requirements
- Programming skills: You have experience in object-oriented programming—ideally in Java
- Databases: You have experience in database programming with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL
- IT fundamentals: You have basic knowledge of Linux and initial experience with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript)
- Networks: Knowledge of network programming (TCP/IP) is an advantage
- Technical affinity: You are interested in new technologies and enjoy developing your skills
- Working style: You work in a structured, independent way and contribute creative ideas to your team
- Problem solving: You analyze challenges systematically and find appropriate technical solutions
