About the role
- Participation in the preparation and performance of surgical procedures
- Preparing patients (including positioning) for surgery
- Assisting physicians during operations with required instruments and materials
- Co-responsible for maintaining hygiene in the operating theatre, e.g., care of technical equipment
- Documentation of procedures during surgery
Requirements
- Good intermediate secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss) or an equivalent qualified school-leaving certificate
- High level of social competence and empathy
- Sense of responsibility for one's actions
- Enthusiasm and team spirit
- Interest in medicine
- High self-motivation and dedication to a specialised profession
