About the role

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance
  • Tax Prep & Support: Provide a template for books that support improved/efficient tax reporting, support the corporate structure, deploy tax optimization strategies.
  • Ensure accurate transaction posting in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Prepare and present financial dashboards and performance reports.
  • Profitability Analysis by Product & Channel: Analyze revenue, cost, and margin performance, identify top-performing and low-performing products, monitor financial KPIs.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop financial forecasts, revenue and expense modeling, define and track KPIs, establish realistic financial goals.
  • Cash Flow Management and Optimization: Track cash inflows and outflows, develop forecasts for expected revenue and expenses.
  • Managing Accounts Payable & Receivable.
  • Cost Management and Process Optimization: Reviews and approves all POs and analyzes variances.
  • Supporting Business Decision-Making: Assess financial viability and prepare financial reports.
  • Compliance, Risk Management & Audit: Ensure compliance with regulations and collaborate with external auditors.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, marketing, or related analytical field.
  • Advanced degree a huge plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills to convey data insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet multiple deadlines.
