About the role
- Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Tax Prep & Support: Provide a template for books that support improved/efficient tax reporting, support the corporate structure, deploy tax optimization strategies.
- Ensure accurate transaction posting in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Prepare and present financial dashboards and performance reports.
- Profitability Analysis by Product & Channel: Analyze revenue, cost, and margin performance, identify top-performing and low-performing products, monitor financial KPIs.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop financial forecasts, revenue and expense modeling, define and track KPIs, establish realistic financial goals.
- Cash Flow Management and Optimization: Track cash inflows and outflows, develop forecasts for expected revenue and expenses.
- Managing Accounts Payable & Receivable.
- Cost Management and Process Optimization: Reviews and approves all POs and analyzes variances.
- Supporting Business Decision-Making: Assess financial viability and prepare financial reports.
- Compliance, Risk Management & Audit: Ensure compliance with regulations and collaborate with external auditors.
- Collaboration with Other Departments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, marketing, or related analytical field.
- Advanced degree a huge plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.
- A passion for innovation and a desire to stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Effective communication skills to convey data insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet multiple deadlines.
