About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute manufacturing engineering actions, projects, and investigations to sustain production lines according to quality compliance regulations
- Execute priorities and projects according to manufacturing production needs
- Communicate with and obtain support from different areas to ensure uninterrupted production and alignment of product and process improvements with standards and the quality system
- Implement engineering tools including Six Sigma DMAIC, DOE, and Lean for problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement
- Perform documentation and recordkeeping after production release in accordance with manufacturing and quality regulations
- Perform project validation processes to comply with quality regulations for products and processes
- Ensure production-line output meets product specifications and establish clear criteria for conforming/non-conforming products and test methods used to verify conformity
- Provide information during audits to demonstrate compliance with quality regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or related
- 0–3 years in similar positions
- Critical Thinking/Analytical Skills
- Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and writing skills
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 regulations
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma
- Knowledge of process and root-cause problem-solving methodologies
- Attention to detail
- Validation manufacturing process experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of CAPEX, budget control, and COGS (preferred)
- AutoCAD and SolidWorks (preferred)
- Transfer process project implementation experience (preferred)
- Continuous improvement project implementation experience (preferred)
