About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a regional interface between Global Business Services, outsourced delivery partners, and regional business stakeholders.
- Translate business priorities into executable R2R delivery plans aligned with global process standards.
- Support end-to-end regional service delivery performance across outsourced and retained teams.
- Lead daily and weekly operating cadence, including close calendar execution, volume, throughput, capacity, and backlog management.
- Own and enforce SLA and KPI performance across R2R.
- Identify risks, escalate performance issues, and develop root cause analyses and corrective action plans.
- Act as an escalation point for service delivery issues, close delays, reconciliation breaks, control deficiencies, and accounting exceptions.
- Coordinate with outsourced vendor sites to maintain staffing, quality standards, and process controls.
- Execute and enforce global R2R process standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Support demand forecasting and capacity planning.
- Ensure process controls, audit requirements, and financial compliance standards are consistently executed.
- Maintain exception management and escalation frameworks.
- Identify process improvement, automation, and simplification opportunities.
- Support transition, stabilization, and post-Day 1 onboarding activities for new scope migrations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong operational expertise in R2R processes, including accounting close, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany, fixed assets, and controls execution.
- Ability to manage service delivery in a regional or multi-country environment.
- Experience in KPI and SLA performance management, root cause analysis, and structured escalation handling.
- Demonstrated experience managing outsourced or hybrid retained-vendor delivery models.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with regional finance leadership.
- Capability in capacity planning, workload management, and operational performance optimization.
- Experience supporting or driving continuous improvement, automation, standardization, and process simplification initiatives.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong management and leadership skills, including developing and mentoring team members.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.

- Typically, 7 years of professional experience in Finance operations, shared services, or outsourced service delivery environments, including 3 years in a regional or multi-country management role.
- Experience managing third-party outsourced providers in SLA-based environments preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline preferred.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CIMA, or PMP preferred.
- Travel typically less than 20%.
