About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and manage product strategy, roadmap, and technical feature requirements for assigned repair-parts products
- Manage product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle
- Coordinate sourcing, pricing, sales, marketing, packaging, performance management, specifications, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
- Develop portfolio and opportunity pipelines, marketing plans, and product targeting and positioning
- Execute Product Lifecycle Management strategy for assigned product categories
- Develop pricing consistent with marketing strategy and brand positioning
- Support new marketing channels and tools
- Execute voice-of-customer and customer-centered-design activities
- Participate in new product development with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee packaging design and labeling for domestic and international markets
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap using competitive, customer, and market analysis
- Develop project plans and status reports
- Improve customer experience and product capabilities through new ideas and concepts
- Advocate for product and solution designs
- Work with development and vendor teams to ensure features exceed customer expectations
- Monitor, measure, and report key business metrics and identify improvement areas
- Serve as a company resource and subject-matter expert for assigned products
- Visit customers and attend industry events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in applicable professional experience
- Proficient in project management knowledge and skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with product development, project management, sourcing, and vendor negotiations
- Excellent public presentation skills, internally and externally
- Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams
- Good understanding of industry practices
- Proficiency with relevant tools, systems, and procedures
- Basic planning and organizational skills
- Good decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills with ability to multitask
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation and public speaking skills
