About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive and handle high-volume customer telephone calls for orders, product inquiries, and related questions
  • Engage with customers and respond to inquiries via live chat
  • Suggest related or upgraded products through cross-selling and up-selling
  • Inform customers about promotional items and manufacturer specials using consultative sales techniques
  • Handle customer complaints regarding pricing errors and back-ordered items
  • Forward escalated calls to management, including competitor price-matching issues outside guidelines
  • Coordinate with Customer Service on product returns, re-orders, and credit issues
  • Consult managers for approval on pricing overrides and product-shortage restrictions
  • Attend monthly team meetings and complete compliance training
  • Maintain current product knowledge, selling best practices, and industry trends
  • Assist internal and external customers with navigating Henry Schein and finding solutions
  • Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties
  • Meet company quantity and quality standards and comply with company policies and Worldwide Business Standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 2 or more years of related experience
  • Strong selling skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to answer a high volume of incoming calls
  • Ability to call out as needed
  • Ability to learn applicable computer systems, including AS-400, live chat platform, Salesforce, Siebel, and Workday
