Key responsibilities & impact

Define, develop, test, analyze and maintain new software applications and reporting
Maintain and update existing applications and reports in support of business goals related to Siebel and Oracle development, implementation and configuration
Analyze existing programs and formulate logic for new systems
Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
Maintain project life cycle standards
Work on complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Apply best practices and knowledge of business issues and strategic direction to solve complex problems
Write complex program specifications and code from program specifications
Perform Siebel development, application, component, installation, implementation and configuration using Siebel tools
Utilize workflows, scripting, views, applets, joins, links and MVG
Prepare Siebel Call Center or Sales and Service applications
Use Siebel integration tools such as Web Services, EIM and EAI
Develop SQL queries, stored procedures and functions to check results

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), Math, or closely related field
5 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation
5 years of experience in Siebel development, application, components, installation, implementation and configuration using Siebel tools
5 years of experience with workflows, scripting, views, applets, joins links and MVG
5 years of experience with Siebel Call Center or Sales and Service applications
5 years of experience with Siebel integration tools such as Web Services, EIM and EAI
5 years of experience developing SQL queries, stored procedures and functions to check results
2 years of experience in Oracle Siebel Open UI development and tools including JavaScript, HTML, JQuery and CSS
2 years of experience with Siebel Order Management, quotes, assets and product configuration
2 years of experience in Siebel application administration
2 years of experience with Siebel upgrade process and patches
2 years of experience with Oracle upgrade path
Must work from office 1 day/week in Melville, NY
