About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive business development efforts, incremental sales growth, and customer satisfaction for dental practice transition activities
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Transition Sales Consultants throughout the client lifecycle from initial contact through closing
  • Cultivate new marketing strategies through social media, Constant Contact, and other channels
  • Review client databases and conduct outreach to revive dormant client leads
  • Guide clients through valuation, listing/sale activities, due diligence, buyer lender needs, and closing
  • Promote the DPT value proposition and obtain client commitment to proceed
  • Secure and support seller, buyer, lender, dental association, study club, and Henry Schein Dental seminars
  • Coordinate seminar marketing materials, email blasts, and digital marketing
  • Maintain connections with local dental teams, vendors, buyers, and referral partners
  • Manage sales communications and transaction information among coordinators, sellers, buyers, and business advisors
  • Enhance practice valuation experiences through client interviews, follow-up, data collection, and coordination with valuation teams
  • Support practice listings and closings by tracking buyer follow-up, profiles, checklists, purchase agreements, and closing documents
  • Identify and communicate deal issues early
  • Develop relationships with new buyers and explain the Henry Schein DPT workflow and value proposition
  • Conduct buyer intake and interviews covering geographic interests, practice types, clinical productivity, experience, expectations, debt service, living expenses, capital needs, and lender suitability
  • Introduce buyers to preferred lenders and educate them on lender prequalification
  • Drive market awareness for active listings and generate buyer leads
  • Compile practice information for classified ads, email blasts, local online marketing, Canva, and other digital channels
  • Facilitate marketing and communication plans for active listings
  • Support regional training, calls, communications, culture, and special sales projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 2 to 4 or more years of related professional experience with a bachelor’s degree
  • Typically 6 or more years of related sales, sales support, or professional experience with High School education
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI, and other CRM dashboards
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong listening skills to translate client feedback into appropriate DPT solution set
  • Understanding of customer focused selling skills and demonstrated ability to gain trust
  • Working knowledge of HSD strategic lending partnerships and COIs in market
  • Working knowledge of financial statements, including business tax returns and profit & loss statements
  • Financial acumen to assess cash-flow and adjusted EBITDA targets
  • Understanding of the Credit Box and basic underwriting criteria of DPT preferred lenders
  • Proficiency in creating advanced PowerPoint presentations and Excel workbooks
  • Good understanding of industry practices
  • Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures
  • Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques
  • Good decision making, analysis, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills
