Assistant Unit Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in preparing and facilitating team meetings (briefings, steering meetings, etc.)
- Help communicate and ensure clear understanding of managerial messages
- Support monitoring of team members (skills development, activity tracking)
- Assist the Unit Manager in preparing managerial materials
- Contribute to the production of activity reporting
- Help organize and schedule activities according to objectives
- Track action plans and propose improvement initiatives
- Contribute to handling requests and ensuring the quality of responses provided
- Take part in analyzing malfunctions and implementing corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with processes and service commitments
- Occasionally support teams on operational matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+5 equivalent), ideally in management, business administration, or a related field.
- You have initial experience (internship, work-study, academic project) in activity management, operations monitoring, or an operational environment.
- You are proficient with office tools, in particular:
- Excel (data tracking, tables, analyses)
- PowerPoint (structuring and presenting information)
- Word
- You have strong analytical skills, are rigorous, and possess well-developed organizational abilities.
- You are interested in managerial responsibilities and wish to develop skills in team facilitation and activity management.
- Autonomous, reliable, and proactive, you can take initiative while collaborating with different stakeholders.
- You demonstrate interpersonal ease, good listening skills, and diplomacy. You want to grow in a demanding, educational, and collaborative environment.
