About the role
- Handle claims (temporary incapacity/sick leave, disability, daily allowances, death) from opening through settlement
- Assemble claim files (review supporting documents and coverage) and follow up on missing documentation
- Monitor payments
- Answer telephone calls to advise clients on claim status and case management
- Manage the contract lifecycle: registration/cancellation and processing premium receipts
Requirements
- Two-year post-secondary diploma (Bac+2) or equivalent required
- Experience in insurance or in a similar role, preferably in welfare/group risk (prévoyance)
- Attention to detail, responsiveness and strong organizational skills
- Comfort with numerical data
- Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable with digital tools (Office 365)
- Strong written and spoken French
- Fluent in English
