About the role

  • Handle claims (temporary incapacity/sick leave, disability, daily allowances, death) from opening through settlement
  • Assemble claim files (review supporting documents and coverage) and follow up on missing documentation
  • Monitor payments
  • Answer telephone calls to advise clients on claim status and case management
  • Manage the contract lifecycle: registration/cancellation and processing premium receipts

Requirements

  • Two-year post-secondary diploma (Bac+2) or equivalent required
  • Experience in insurance or in a similar role, preferably in welfare/group risk (prévoyance)
  • Attention to detail, responsiveness and strong organizational skills
  • Comfort with numerical data
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable with digital tools (Office 365)
  • Strong written and spoken French
  • Fluent in English
