Business Development Manager, Oil & Gas
Hempel A/SBD Manager driving market growth strategies within Oil & Gas at Hempel. Contributing to sustainable growth and relationship management within the industry.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for driving the sub-segment market growth, through ODE development, pipeline management & competition strategy build up.
- Convert market insights and competitive intelligence into actionable regional segment strategies that support global goals.
- Identify high-impact opportunities within Oil & Gas industry (onshore & offshore) segment, ensure overall pipeline sufficiency and quality, and utilize internal & external resources in supporting the success of target projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with selected accounts among Owners, Designers, EPCs within the region, actively support projects involving these accounts to drive influence and secure opportunities.
- Identify attractive new market; explore strategies and methods for new market development in the region; Act as a competence center to enhance commercial capabilities of the regional sales team.
- Work with Solution Management to ensure regional alignment with global product and segment strategies and contribute to cross-regional opportunities where BD represents E&I interests.
- Leading in high value products promotions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree or above, major in chemistry is preferer.
- At least 3 years working experience in sales, technical or business development role in Oil & Gas industry (onshore & offshore).
- Coating & offshore background knowledge is prefer.
- Lead or play dominant role in at least two complete successful projects.
- Experience in new customer development & project hunting.
- Familiar with Coating Products spec-in process.
- Have existing career network with Design Institutes, EPC companies and Owners.
- Project Management Experiences.
- Good insights for new business development.
- Good oral English skill.
