Account Manager
Hempel A/SSales Representative managing sales activities and relationships for Neogard in Mexico City and Guadalajara. Promoting high-performance Waterproofing, Roofing and Flooring solutions.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sales, increase, and promote Neogard’s high-performance Waterproofing, Roofing and Flooring solutions across the assigned territory
- Manage and expand relationships with contractors, architects, owners, engineers, and decision-makers
- Support existing accounts and identify new business opportunities
- Use CRM to organize and monitor daily sales activities, follow-ups, and project progress
- Provide technical knowledge, sales ability, and field assistance
- Establish direct contact with owners, architects, engineers, and design professionals
- Cultivate a collaborative relationship with independent representatives, distributors, and contractors
- Provide active support in trade organizations, shows, and committees
- Deliver presentations to prospective clients
- Keep up to date with industry trends and new technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience managing main projects
- Developing key accounts
- Creating solution specifications
- Selling products to key decision makers
- Strong negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in construction materials
- Proficiency in English
- Living in Mexico City or Guadalajara preferred
- Willing to travel up to 60% of the time
- Proficient understanding of Polymeric Technology
- Familiar with Neogard products, processes, and sales procedures
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts effectively
- Excellent negotiation and communications skills
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with investors and contractors
- Experience in value-based selling and relationship building with Key Accounts
- Organized, independent, and proactive work approach
- Experienced in using CRM systems or similar platforms
