National Account Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take ownership of a portfolio of national trade accounts, driving profitable growth
- Develop and deliver strategic joint business plans to grow revenue, margin, distribution, and share of wallet across national trade accounts
- Build strong senior-level relationships with decision makers, procurement teams, and commercial stakeholders to create long-term partnerships
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, terms, rebates, and service agreements to maximise profitability
- Drive new initiatives, product launches, and market opportunities while ensuring customers are supported through legislative and market change.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in National Account Management, Key Account Management, or senior B2B commercial sales
- Ideally a background in construction or paint/coatings
- Strong track record of managing high-value accounts and delivering profitable sales growth
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse market trends, performance data, and opportunities
- Experience working cross-functionally to deliver customer-led solutions.
