About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take a leading role in shaping and delivering brand strategy across a portfolio of brands operating in different channels and market contexts.
- Translate long‑term brand and portfolio direction into clear strategies, annual plans and high‑impact brand programmes.
- Lead the development and delivery of brand plans, guide campaign direction and ensure brands are activated effectively across relevant touchpoints.
- Develop brand plans that turn strategy into clear, practical action across the business
- Create campaigns that reflect real people and real moments, while still delivering measurable results
- Ensure brand positioning and messaging is consistent and confident across every touchpoint
- Work closely with Customer Marketing to deliver strong, stand out execution where it matters most
- Use data and insight to understand what is working, where we can improve and how we can do things better
- Influence product, range and promotional decisions to strengthen both brand equity and commercial performance
- Continuously improve how we plan, deliver and measure brand activity to stay relevant and effective
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 Years experience in brand, marketing or category roles, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods or home improvement
- A strong understanding of how to build brands that genuinely connect with people, not just communicate messages
- Proven ability to lead brand strategy as well as delivery
- Strong commercial acumen, with evidence of delivering brand-led growth or improved ROI.
- Confidence using insight and data to shape decisions and improve performance over time
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while keeping a clear sense of direction
- Strong communication and storytelling skills that help bring ideas to life
- A collaborative approach that builds trust and helps teams work better together
