About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct regular visits to manufacturing plants and subcontractors across Asia.
  • Perform production, quality, and supplier audits.
  • Verify production and quality documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Cooperate closely with local factory management and production teams.
  • Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to the headquarters.
  • Support supplier qualification and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent product quality across all manufacturing locations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Previous experience as a Food Technologist, Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Manager, Food Safety Specialist, Production Auditor, or a similar role.
  • Practical knowledge of food production processes.
  • Experience conducting quality or supplier audits.
  • Good understanding of food safety systems such as HACCP, GMP, GHP, BRCGS, IFS or FSSC 22000.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Asia or current residence in Asia (preferably China).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and build effective relationships with manufacturing partners.
