About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for payroll processing for employees and pensioners in compliance with statutory requirements
Coordination of external payroll service providers across multiple European countries
Advising employees on payroll-related inquiries and benefits topics
Preparation of ad-hoc reports, forecasts and budget plans for salaries and personnel costs
Calculation of hypothetical taxes for international assignments and collaboration with tax advisors
Support for the bonus and merit processes as well as coordination of pension and benefits programs
Ensuring the maintenance of time and attendance systems and preparation of A1 certificates
Participation in audits related to tax and social security matters

Requirements

What you’ll need

Commercial vocational training or degree with a focus on Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
At least five years of payroll experience in Germany
Experience with reporting, forecasting and budget planning
Experience in hypothetical tax calculations for international employees
Confident use of common payroll and time & attendance systems (e.g., ADP / Paisy)
Fluent communication skills in German (C2) and English (minimum C1 level)
Ideally, experience in a manufacturing environment and in HR digitalization projects
