Paid Search Specialist – Google Ads, Meta

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and manage paid advertising campaigns for multiple clients ranging from $k-$10k+/mo in ad spend across various industries.
- Develop growth strategies for clients and execute around measurable KPIs.
- Monitor and analyze performance data and report results effectively to the team.
- Create client-facing presentations, as needed, to report on strategy, testing, performance, and insights.
- Proactively perform keyword research, A/B ad copy testing, competitor analysis, test target audiences and bid strategies.
- Participate in creative discussions around strategies and tactics that drive results with a team of Ad Specialists.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of hands-on experience building and managing Google Ads campaigns from scratch, including Search and Performance Max (PMAX), with demonstrable knowledge of how bid strategy changes affect campaign behavior.
- Ability to clearly explain and apply Google Ads bidding strategies — including Maximize Conversions, Maximize Conversion Value, Target CPA, and Target ROAS — and when to use each based on client goals and account maturity.
- Previous experience at a digital marketing or paid search agency managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, ideally across home services, B2C, or lead generation verticals.
- Proven experience with Meta Ads in addition to Google, with the ability to recommend the right platform mix based on client industry and goals.
- Strong working knowledge of keyword research, match types, and negative keyword management within Google Ads.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager for conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in English — reading, writing, and speaking — with the ability to communicate campaign performance and strategy clearly in a professional context.
