About the role

  • Collaborate across the entire product development process: actively support us from the initial idea/sketch through concept phases to preparation for volume production.
  • Concept and design work: develop ideas, compare alternatives and prepare design directions.
  • Graphic design tasks: create layouts, presentations, product graphics/branding elements and supporting visuals.
  • Materials and component research: research suitable fabrics and coatings, evaluate samples and help develop sustainable options with us.
  • Color & trim development: dive into color palettes, combinations and details and translate them into coherent proposals.
  • Building functional prototypes: create functional samples to test construction, handling and details.

Requirements

  • You are currently studying Product Design or a related field and are seeking a 6-month mandatory internship.
  • Interest in materials, manufacturing and details (e.g., fabrics, coatings, trims), including a willingness to research, handle samples and make comparisons.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe (especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for creating concepts, graphics and documentation.
  • Ideally you have some experience with 3D tools (e.g., Rhino) and a basic understanding of forms, proportions and construction.
  • Hands-on mentality: you enjoy practical work, experimenting and supporting prototype/functional model development.
  • Structured, reliable and independent working style.
  • You bring enthusiasm for outdoor activities and everyday products.
