About the role

  • Own and ship full-stack features: fully own billing, payments and user management features end-to-end
  • Work closely with Engineering Manager and Product Manager to build and launch frontend and backend APIs
  • Champion quality: author tests, monitor performance and create run-books to ensure reliable releases
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, customer success and sales to deliver customer value quickly
  • Continuously improve processes, identify development bottlenecks and mentor the team on best practices
  • Work with AI enablement team to improve speed and safety of releases
  • Craft elegant, intuitive, and performant user interfaces and services with a product mindset

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Solid full stack capability: frontend (TypeScript, React) and backend (Python or TypeScript)
  • Experience with REST/GraphQL design, domain-driven architecture, relational and NoSQL datastores
  • Cloud proficiency (GCP or AWS): containers, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability and security best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Product mindset and attention to UX detail
  • Experience working closely with design
  • Ability to author tests, monitor performance and create run-books
  • Mentoring and process improvement experience
  • Bonus: Experience with payments or billing systems, subscription plans, and user management systems
  • Work authorization status required (application asks about citizen/visa/permanent resident and sponsorship)
