About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and prioritize high-impact performance improvement opportunities across Ready-Mix operations
- Translate field observations and operational data into clear, actionable improvement plans
- Drive initiatives that improve productivity, cost efficiency, service reliability, and operational performance
- Partner with regional and operational leadership to elevate performance management practices and accountability
- Lead root cause analysis and connect results to operational drivers for sustainable improvement
- Champion standardized processes and reinforce disciplined execution across production, dispatch, and logistics
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, constructively challenging assumptions and raising performance expectations
- Align operational priorities with cross-functional teams to implement practical, scalable solutions
- Support integration and adoption of tools, technologies, and initiatives that enhance operational performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent operational and business experience will also be considered
- 5+ years of experience in ready-mix operations or related field-based operational roles
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and operate effectively across both field environments and leadership settings
- Exposure to performance management, continuous improvement, process discipline, or transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to influence teams and drive change without direct authority
- Strong operational and business acumen with the ability to link operational drivers to business outcomes
- Strong preference for candidates located in or willing to relocate to the DFW area; however, we are also open to candidates based in the Atlanta or Houston metro areas.
