Key responsibilities & impact

Owns execution of construction projects ($5M–$25M) from handoff after bid award through closeout.
Manages overall project financial performance, overseeing budgets, cost controls, forecasting, backcharges, and change orders.
Leads field and resource coordination, working closely with Superintendents and colleagues.
Track progress, communicate status, and resolve issues to keep projects moving forward.
Serves as the primary point of contact with PennDOT, maintaining daily interaction with owners and inspectors.
Balances office and field leadership (≈50/50) to ensure work aligns with contract requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing heavy highway projects is required.
High School Diploma is required.
Direct engineering experience is preferred.
Computer proficiency.
Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
