About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Owns execution of construction projects ($5M–$25M) from handoff after bid award through closeout.
  • Manages overall project financial performance, overseeing budgets, cost controls, forecasting, backcharges, and change orders.
  • Leads field and resource coordination, working closely with Superintendents and colleagues.
  • Track progress, communicate status, and resolve issues to keep projects moving forward.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact with PennDOT, maintaining daily interaction with owners and inspectors.
  • Balances office and field leadership (≈50/50) to ensure work aligns with contract requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing heavy highway projects is required.
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Direct engineering experience is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
