About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform accounts payable duties such as verifying all invoices for payment
Ensuring expenditures are charged to the appropriate accounts and proper approval has been documented
Assist with the check run process and reconciliation of supplier statements
Recording cash transactions within the accounting system
Reconciliation of bank accounts
Assisting with the month end closing processes
Providing quarterly reporting of capital expenditures
Assist with the development and implementation of process improvements
Practice effective communication by maintaining regular contact with the Controller
Work in an honest and ethical manner; always maintain confidentiality

Requirements

What you’ll need

A two-year accounting degree
3+ years of experience in processing accounts payable
Knowledge in South Dakota Sales and Use Tax
QuickBooks Experience
Excellent organizational, time management, communication and customer service skills
Ability to adapt to change and work well in a team setting.
