About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The preparation of Cash and Positions Reconciliations, ensuring a timely accurate output
- Establish and maintain good relationships with internal service departments and clients
- Converse and liaise with internal services departments to resolve miscellaneous fund issues
- Attend and participate in team meetings
- Escalate issues and aged items to Portfolio Accounting Supervisor and Manager
- Work on ah-hoc projects and tasks depending on both client structure, client requirements and business needs
- Assist team development by providing guidance, training and mentoring to associates
- Ensure pre-agreed internal and external deadlines are met consistently
- Ensure that HedgeServ’s client focused ethos is maintained on a daily basis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accounting, Finance or Business Degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and well organized
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to be flexible and work effectively both within a team structure and independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to positively influence team morale
- Take ownership of designated tasks
- Act as a role model for HedgeServ
