About the role
- Collaborate with the Country Living Editorial Team to understand the vision and goals for the fair.
- Manage vendor logistics, including booth assignments, contracts, and communication.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of the fair, ensuring a smooth process.
- Coordinate with the fairgrounds team to address any site-related issues or requirements.
- Help develop and implement a comprehensive event schedule, including speaker sessions and demonstrations.
- Handle on-site event management, ensuring a positive experience for attendees and vendors.
- Address any last-minute changes or challenges with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Collect and analyze post-event feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with post-event reporting and provide recommendations for future fairs.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in event management or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
- A creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
