About the role

  • Own and deliver against an annual revenue target for the Patient Identification for Clinical Trials offering.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve defined revenue and growth objectives.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline across CROs, sponsors, and investigator networks.
  • Lead full sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and contract execution.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Shape go-to-market strategy, positioning, and competitive differentiation for the Clinical Trials Patient ID offering.
  • Translate enrollment, feasibility, and site performance challenges into clear commercial value propositions.
  • Drive promotional initiatives and manage an allocated promotional budget to support business development objectives.
  • Utilize and maintain the company’s CRM system (currently Salesforce) to document customer interactions, pipeline progression, and project activity.
  • Provide regular and accurate revenue forecasting to leadership.
  • Maintain disciplined reporting on active accounts, pipeline status, and revenue performance metrics.
  • Ensure successful execution of customer initiatives in partnership with Clinical Science, Operations, and Delivery teams.
  • Maintain executive-level customer relationships post-sale to support retention and expansion.
  • Monitor customer outcomes to identify renewal and upsell opportunities.
  • Represent HEALWELL AI at industry conferences, customer meetings, and promotional events.
  • Participate in panels and podium presentations supporting visibility of the Patient ID offering.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience in clinical research, clinical development, or clinical operations.
  • Experience within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) and/or pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization.
  • Demonstrated success in revenue-generating, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of patient recruitment, enrollment challenges, site operations, and protocol-driven workflows.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management and revenue forecasting.
  • Proven ability to engage senior executives and represent organizations externally.
  • Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with willingness to travel.
