About the role
- HealthMark Group: software and service partner to clinical facilities improving administrative efficiency
- Maintain financial procedures and confirm financial compliance through preparation of reports and statements
- Assist Controller by reviewing financial records for accuracy and compliance
- Track company earnings and spending; organize and update financial records
- Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements from general ledger and departmental information
- Assist in preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure deadlines are met
- Enter accounting information into business systems (QuickBooks experience noted)
- Perform monthly bank settlements and prepare documentation for external and internal auditors
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue; assist management with improving financial policies
- Assist with management of all financial records; protect confidential information
- Familiarity with asset-light SaaS business model and/or healthcare is a plus
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (degree may be substituted in lieu of experience)
- At least two years' experience in accounting, finance, or related field
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations
- Deadline-oriented with excellent time management
- QuickBooks experience
