About the role
- Designs, develops, and maintains complex applications using Pega solutions that adhere to platform best practices
- Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality
- Participates in developing specifications including user stories and designs
- Solves and recommends solutions for complex issues and problems
- Assists in the development of logical and physical specifications
- Documents designs, issues, solutions, tips and tricks
- Collaborates within the Agile framework, fostering a team approach to software development and delivery
- Actively engages in improving software delivery through DevOps and other Agile practices
- Stays current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Must have five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a tech lead/manager-related occupation
- Must be certified in Pega CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) and CSA (Certified System Architect)
- Must have five (5) years of experience performing Pega Software development
- Must have two (2) years experience with Pega 8
- Must have three (3) years of experience performing software architecture and SOA services implementation
- Must have three (3) years of experience implementing integrations including REST, SOAP, File Listener, MQ and/or Error Handling
- Must have three (3) years of experience in process excellence/modelling, workflow, or flow charting
- Must have three (3) years of experience performing software development in Agile environments and methodologies
