About the role

  • The Events Manager will be responsible for planning and development, executing, and optimizing a wide range of corporate events that support brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to deliver high-quality events - both virtual and in-person.
  • Manage key initiatives that strengthen our brand and enhance public relations efforts.
  • Oversight for all logistical facets of assigned conferences, conventions, tradeshows, programs, and meetings.
  • Work with the Senior Events Manager to meet the comprehensive Events budget, including all logistics expenses based on specific event venues and vendor quotes.
  • Determine onsite branded materials and collateral needs and manage all shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery to event locations.
  • Strategically select and assign tradeshow booth space and oversee all logistics for booth shipments to and from event locations.
  • Develop comprehensive roles and responsibilities documentation for each event and lead pre/post conference briefings and onsite pre-cons with the ground team to ensure flawless execution.
  • Partner with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to coordinate regional happy hours, including venue sourcing and securing reservations.
  • Compile and analyze lead generation data from each event and coordinate timely follow-up with senior sales and BDR team.
  • Travel onsite to lead the team in managing all logistical aspects of large-scale events, including ancillary activities, setup, move-in, tear-down, and move-out.
  • Plan, organize, and execute virtual customer conferences and external webinars.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in marketing, event management (conferences, tradeshows, corporate events) or public relations;
  • 2-3 years independently managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Background in healthcare, hospitals, health systems, government, or payer organizations preferred.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Skilled in end-to-end planning, including contracting, venue management, transportation, audiovisual, F&B, shipping, and onsite execution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills for internal teams, venues, and external partners.
  • Hyper-focused on the "customer experience" and related outcomes with a strong customer service orientation and ability to act diplomatically.
  • Understanding of branding, messaging, and promotional strategies.
  • Familiarity with event management platforms, CRM systems, and virtual event technologies.
  • Ability to track performance, analyze ROI, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, adaptability, and ability to work independently or in teams under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and events.
