About the role
- Develop and maintain detailed workstream plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with other Project Managers to ensure dependencies are managed.
- Establish project governance structures and meeting cadences.
- Drive clarity around requirements, priorities, and decision-making.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between claims operations, IT, configuration, and external vendors.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live readiness activities.
- Work closely with internal leaders to allocate resources effectively.
Requirements
- AA or BA in Business Administration, Health Informatics, or related field preferred.
- 3-5+ years as a Project Manager experience managing complex projects.
- PMP or PMI-ACP strongly desired.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in healthcare or insurance industries.
- Understanding of new product and product enhancements.
- Ability to identify and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate and assemble project plans.
- Strong problem solving, time management skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing project plans, cost/benefit analysis, budgets, and project performance reporting.
