About the role

  • Supervise and serve as a role model and resource to staff for clinical decision-making and clinical assessments of clients
  • Review, analyse, and make recommendations in the development of administrative systems such as policies, procedures and standards of care within a continuous quality improvement environment
  • Plan and provide staff and student education as consistent with the mission, values, and policies of CCMB
  • Perform treatment delivery and simulation, providing coverage for other areas within the Radiation Therapy Department as required

Requirements

  • Current Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology (CAMRT) registration
  • Certificate for CPR – BLS Provider
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a General Duty RTT or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Satisfactory employment record
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada
  • Ability to perform tasks accurately and reliably.
