About the role
- Carries out admission documentation procedures for patients/residents courteously, accurately and in accordance with established Health Centre policies and procedures.
Requirements
- One (1) year previous experience in registration is required or the successful completion of a recognized Health Access Admission course.
- Grade 12 with keyboarding speed of 55 wpm.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements.
- Must be able to speak French at the predetermined linguistic level.
- Accurate, effective communication in English.
- Medical terminology and previous experience operating a computer terminal is required.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be capable of functioning under stressful conditions.
