About the role
- Oversee and coordinate Patient Flow across the Health System
- Monitor provincial system capacity and mitigate risks associated with overcapacity situations
- Foster linkages across sectors and regions to improve access to care
- Work closely with regional utilization teams and medical leaders
- Identify operational business needs and opportunities to support provincial integration
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of leadership including experience in a patient/resident/client care setting
- 3 years' experience in the acute care system
- 2 years’ experience in patient flow or bed utilization
- 2 years’ experience managing processes and projects
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant health discipline from an accredited post-secondary education institution
- Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate
- Demonstrated mid-level leadership capabilities
- Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds
- Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment
