About the role
- Provide nursing care to clients in the community
- Deliver services in the home, school, and place of business settings or at a Nurse Supported/Wound Clinic
- Follow nursing interventions defined by the Nursing Care Plan within the nursing scope of practice
- Report to the Manager, Health Services and under the supervision of the Nursing Resource Coordinator
Requirements
- Recent IV experience required
- Experience in community care and/or long-term care
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required
- CNA Community Health Nurses Certification or relevant applicable certification preferred
- E1 Certification preferred
- Wound Care level 1 & 2 certification preferred
- Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license required
