About the role
- Performing various cleaning functions/services throughout the Hospital and annexes
- Understanding and following Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) guidelines
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Grade 10
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to interact well with others
- Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt readily to fast-paced situations
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, lift and reach continuously throughout the entire shift
- Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs/11 kgs
- Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment
