About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Providing operational services, assistance, program implementation, and coordination for one or more day-to-day Medicaid operation functions
- Coordinating recurring state-mandated reports
- Managing regulatory inquiries and operational escalations
- Partnering with stakeholders across Medicaid claims, care coordination, encounters, customer service, and other business areas
- Gathering, validating, and delivering information required by the State of Illinois
- Resolving complex and escalated operational questions
- Working with other areas of the organization on the development, testing, and implementation of program policies, business processes, and system changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor Degree and 1 year experience OR 5 years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, strategic planning, research, project management, product administration, product operations or relevant health care industry experience
- Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience interacting with personnel of multiple departments and at various levels in the organization
- Analytical and information synthesis skills
- Verbal and written communication and organization skills
- Experience with changing assignments and priorities
- PC proficiency to include MS Office products
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting, compliance activities, or state contract requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills required; Tableau experience preferred.
