About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Providing operational services, assistance, program implementation, and coordination for one or more day-to-day Medicaid operation functions
  • Coordinating recurring state-mandated reports
  • Managing regulatory inquiries and operational escalations
  • Partnering with stakeholders across Medicaid claims, care coordination, encounters, customer service, and other business areas
  • Gathering, validating, and delivering information required by the State of Illinois
  • Resolving complex and escalated operational questions
  • Working with other areas of the organization on the development, testing, and implementation of program policies, business processes, and system changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor Degree and 1 year experience OR 5 years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, strategic planning, research, project management, product administration, product operations or relevant health care industry experience
  • Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience interacting with personnel of multiple departments and at various levels in the organization
  • Analytical and information synthesis skills
  • Verbal and written communication and organization skills
  • Experience with changing assignments and priorities
  • PC proficiency to include MS Office products
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting, compliance activities, or state contract requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; Tableau experience preferred.
