About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Leverage strong technical skills (SQL, R, Python, Tableau/PowerBI) and healthcare industry knowledge to support and enhance client-facing engagements with HCSC’s largest Commercial customers.
Responsible for the analytic support and consultancy for HCSC’s largest Commercial Clients.
Provide advisory for internal senior-leader stakeholders related to population health and insurance.
Communicate with and present to C-Suite stakeholders to elevate their understanding of plan cost and health drivers and collaborate internally to address them.
Partner with management to scale and help internally market impactful client engagements for broader impact.
Design and maintain standard data layers, develop coding standards and documentation for organizational use cases, and troubleshoot challenges that arise during analytic development.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
Understanding, and being highly proficient at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to get meaningful insights.
Performance excellence in computer languages, such as SQL, R, Python.
Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring the initiative to life.
