About the role
- Providing operational leadership for the Medication Therapy Management program within HCSC's integrated Enterprise Pharmacy
- Supporting HCSC's Medical and Pharmacy Benefit Integration, MTM, PBM, and pharmacy product initiatives
- Primary focus on providing strategies that increase efficiency, improve outcomes and help manage drug spend
Requirements
- Pharm D Pharmacist in the state of operations
- At least 4 years experience in managed care pharmaceuticals
- At least 4 years of managerial experience in the Pharmacy environment
- Ability and experience managing a budget to appropriately establish targets
- Ability to lead a diverse staff
- Analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently or with a team to achieve successful results
- Ability to be effective in a position requiring a high degree of self-direction, initiative, sound decision-making and effective organizational skills
- Ability to develop and cross-train staff through presentations, training, knowledge-sharing, goal setting, evaluation, and positive reinforcement
- Interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Overseeing the annual budget and allocating resources for various projects and operational needs
- Translating needs and initiatives into compelling business cases
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses to justify investments and ensure ROI
