About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s risk management policies, procedures, methodologies, and control framework
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and report operational, financial, compliance, ICT, cyber security, outsourcing, reputational, and other material risks
  • Maintain the Risk Register, Incident Register, risk map, Controls Library, and supporting risk documentation
  • Prepare quarterly and annual risk reports for the Management Board, including material developments, control weaknesses, limit breaches, and recommended actions
  • Coordinate Risk and Control Self-Assessments and the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment process across business functions
  • Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators, early warning thresholds, and the company’s Risk Appetite Statements
  • Review and constructively challenge risk assessments, mitigation plans, and risk acceptance decisions made by first-line functions
  • Oversee operational resilience, business continuity, crisis management, stress testing, and scenario analysis from a risk perspective
  • Assess third-party and outsourcing risks, including material service providers and critical outsourcing arrangements
  • Support regulatory submissions and act as a key point of contact for the Bank of Lithuania and other relevant authorities on risk management matters.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant experience in risk management within payments, banking, electronic money, FinTech, or another regulated financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of second-line risk management responsibilities and internal control principles
  • Practical experience managing risk registers, incidents, risk assessments, controls, risk appetite, and management reporting
  • Knowledge of operational risk, ICT and cyber risk, outsourcing risk, operational resilience, and business continuity
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, and decision-oriented reports for senior management and the Management Board
  • Confidence communicating with regulators, auditors, business leaders, and other control functions
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Lithuanian would be considered an advantage
  • An impeccable professional reputation and the ability to perform the role independently and objectively
