About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a Board-level advisor on governance, strategy, regulatory matters, and business performance
- Support the company through the MiCA licensing process, including regulatory readiness, documentation, and governance structure
- Provide oversight of compliance with Polish financial regulations and EU crypto-asset regulatory requirements
- Represent the company before regulators and external stakeholders when required
- Review Board-level KPIs, financial performance, operational risks, and strategic priorities
- Advise the CEO and senior leadership team on regulatory, corporate, and market-related matters
- Contribute to decisions around product strategy, European expansion, risk management, and business growth
- Strengthen internal governance standards, accountability, reporting lines, and decision-making processes
- Build trusted relationships with regulators, industry partners, and key market stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Permanent residence in Poland
- Fluent Polish and English
- Minimum 2 years of senior management experience within financial services, FinTech, payments, crypto, banking, or another regulated environment
- Strong understanding of governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and Board-level accountability
- Previous Board, Director, or senior leadership experience in a regulated company is highly preferred
- Excellent professional reputation, with no adverse records, sanctions, or issues that could affect regulatory approval
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and ability to support business growth in a regulated environment
- Knowledge of crypto, digital assets, MiCA, AML, or virtual asset operations is a strong advantage
