Business Development Associate

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generates new business opportunities by qualifying leads and prospecting through existing business accounts to engage with potential buyers.
- Prospects, builds, and manages a sales pipeline through high volume, outbound calling.
- Documents and maintains all activity within the customer relationship management system to track activity, measure results, and ensure data integrity.
- Works with leadership and sales operations to identify gaps in processes, trends, and potential improvements.
- Generates profitable growth thru quota attainment.
- Facilitates a smooth handoff to the inside or outside sales team once accounts have met the assigned sales quota.
- Research leads and existing business accounts to provide insightful dialogue that promotes supplies and services suited to create value in a relationship with the prospective client.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside in the state(s) specified above
- 1+ years of business development experience
- 2+ years of inside sales experience
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Powerpoint/Excel)
- Attention to detail, analytical, communication skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
